Condé Nast Traveler Readers Vote EVA in Top 10 Airlines
Carrier wins Readers’ Choice Award recognition for first time
EVA Air has landed a 7th place ranking in Condé Nast Traveler’s prestigious 2021 Readers’ Choice Awards for the Top 10 Airlines in the World. The recognition marks the first time EVA has won a Top 10 spot from the publication’s readers and comes on the heels of equally high or higher traveler ratings in annual SKYTRAX and Travel+Leisure surveys. Readers Choice Award results are available on the Condé Nast Traveler website and highlighted in November US and UK print editions. Information about EVA, its routes and services is available at www.evaair.com.
The annual survey to identify the world’s best hotels, resorts, cities, countries, islands, spas, villas, tours, trains, car rentals, luggage, airlines, airports, tours, and cruises attracted more than 800,000 readers to vote between 1 April and 31 May, 2021. By rating their travel experiences from around the globe, readers shared insights into places and things they miss and what they can’t wait to get back to. Condé Nast Traveler describes its Readers’ Choice Awards as the longest-running and most prestigious recognition of excellence in the travel industry.
“We miss flying our passengers to favorite destinations and those of their dreams every bit as much as they miss air travel with us,” said EVA President Clay Sun. “We look forward to the day when COVID-19 no longer disrupt global travel and we can again operate our full schedule with all the services and niceties we are known for. In the meantime, we are adopting new technologies that enhance passenger wellbeing and working towards automated, paperless services with minimal face-to-face contacts during ticketing, check-in, baggage drop, departure and baggage claim processes. We could not do any of it or win passenger appreciation and recognition without the dedicated, hard-working EVA team.”
Condé Nast Traveler is a luxury and lifestyle travel magazine. In addition to Condé Nast Traveler US and UK, there are nine different international editions, including separate publications in China, India, Italy, Spain and the Middle East.
EVA was recently ranked 7th among the SKYTRAX World’s Top 10 Airlines. It secured additional spots in SKYTRAX’s top 10 for Best Economy Class Onboard Catering, Best Business Class Airlines, World’s Best Airline Cabin Cleanliness, World’s Best Airport Services and more. Travel+Leisure readers honored EVA by voting it 3rd in the “World’s Best International Airlines.” AirlineRatings.com ranked EVA 9th of the World’s Top-20 Airlines, 6th in the World’s Safest Airlines for 2021 and among the World’s Top-20 COVID-19 Compliant Airlines. EVA will continue to improve in the post-pandemic era and to be dedicated to maintaining top standards of safety and service on every flight.
